Lahore: Teenager killed in shootout between groups
LAHORE: A 19-year-old youth died during a crossfire between two rival groups in the Kot Lakhpat police precinct on Sunday. The police said Amir Pervaiz, son of Pervaiz Iqbal and a resident of Mughal Street, Makhdoom Abad, Kot Lakhpat, was a student of class 9.
They said Amir was passing through a street, where a few locals, Malik Shafi, Rafiq, Aftab and an unknown man, were quarrelling with their rival group, led by Shabbir Hussain Mayo, on a property issue. The two groups opened fire at each other, and a bullet hit Amir. He died on his way to hospital.
The police have registered a case against the four accused people on the complaint of Pervaiz Iqbal.
