Two smugglers arrested in Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI: The National Highway and Motorway Police (NH & MP) arrested two people on Thursday for allegedly smuggling hashish from Peshawar to Lahore, according to a press release.
It said a vehicle was found running recklessly on M-2 and the driver sped up when signaled to stop. The police patrol caught the vehicle and recovered 23 kilograms of hashish, 1 kg opium and live rounds of different bores from it. Westridge police arrested the alleged smugglers, seized the vehicle and started investigation.
