Lahore: Two killed over Rs 400
LAHORE: A mobile shop owner on Tuesday shot dead two customers and injured two other passers-by over Rs 400 in Nawankot police precinct. Nawankot police station house officer (SHO) Zulfiqar Butt said the ‘killer’ and the deceased were residents of Sherakot, Babu Sabu.
The incident took place on Bund Road near Bakar Mandi where Mubarak was running his mobile shop. The SHO said Mubarak had managed to escape from the scene after the incident.
The Jinnah Hospital Emergency Department doctors said they had received the bodies of the two men, Muhammad Ali (28) and Muhammad Yasir (31). They said two injured were also admitted to the hospital. Rescue 1122 officials said two men had succumbed to their injuries on the way to the Jinnah Hospital, while two others with minor bullet injuries were admitted to the hospital. The SHO said Mubarak had sold two mobile phones to the deceased a day before the incident. On Tuesday, he said, they had visited the shop again and complained of a defective mobile phone and asked for the return of Rs 400.
