Lahore: Youth killed for resisting robbery
LAHORE: Unidentified robbers gunned down a 20-year-old youth on showing resistance during a robbery bid in the Sattukatla police precinct on Saturday. Sub Inspector (SI) Ahsan Ullah said Muhammad Ahsan, a resident of District Sargodha, came to Lahore three years ago to earn money.
The victim was living with his brother, Muhammad Irfan. He said the brothers were working at a local garment factory, situated in Sattukatla and owned by Malik Rizwan.
On Saturday, Ahsan was alone at the office when four unidentified people forced their way in and held Ahsan at gunpoint.
The alleged robbers started collecting valuables, to which Ahsan resisted. The robbers were infuriated and shot him. He died on the spot. The police removed the body to the city morgue and registered a case against the unidentified killers on the complaint of the victim’s brother.
