Lahore: Man killed over enmity
LAHORE: A 35-year-old man was shot dead by his rivals in Shahdara police precinct on Thursday. Reportedly, Zafar Iqbal was a resident of Okara and had shifted to Lahore a few months ago. He was living in a rented house in Yousaf Park, Shahdara along with his friends Iftikhar, Mushtaq and Syedi.
The police said Zafar Iqbal and his brother Fakhar Iqbal had allegedly killed Shah Muhammad in Okara two years ago. The police said Shah Mehmood’s son Akbar on Thursday with the help of Iftikhar, Mushtaq and Syedi had shot dead Zafar Iqbal. The police have registered a case on the complaint of Zafar’s sister, Nagina, and sent the body to the city morgue for an autopsy.
