Lahore: Two motorcycle lifters arrested
LAHORE: The Anti Motorcycle Lifting Staff (AVLS) claim to have arrested two members of a motorcycle lifting gang, and recovered seven motorcycles from them.
A special team, supervised by Inspector Muhammad Ishaq and Inspector Muhammad Amjad, collected the particulars of the motorcycle lifter’s gang and arrested its two members on a tip-off. The arrested have been identified as Azam alias Sohni and Allah Ditta.
The accused have confessed to a number of incidents of motorcycle lifting. The areas in which they committed crime included Samanabad, Ichhra and Nishter Colony. Seven cases have also been traced against them in various police stations of the city. Capital City Police Officer Malik Muhammad Iqbal has announced cash prizes and certificates for the police raiding team.
