Islamabad: NADRA official kidnapped for ransom
ISLAMABAD: Unidentified culprits on Thursday kidnapped a NADRA official from Sector G-104. An official of Shalimar police said that unidentified persons reportedly kidnapped Hassan Nasir, an employee of National Database and Registration Authority, along with his car.
Police, while quoting Amar Hassan – the victim’s brother – said that Nasir had been missing since Tuesday. Police said the kidnappers had demanded Rs 4 million ransom from Hassan for his brother’s safe release. A case has been registered and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a police constable Saif Ali was ran over by a speeding vehicle and killed at Pindora Chungi in the limits of Industrial Area Police Station. Ali was a resident of Gugranwala.
