Gujranwala: Land feud claims four lives
GUJRANWALA: Four people were shot dead and another two were injured over a land dispute by their rivals in Alipur Chattha on Tuesday.
Reports reaching here said that litigation was going on between Rana Muhammad Akram and Irshadullah. On Tuesday, Irshadullah and his five accomplices came to the outhouse of their rivals and opened fire on them. Consequently, Akram, Iqbal, Umer and Bilal died on the spot while Asgher, son of Siddique, and Asgher, son of Bashir, sustained injuries. The assailants later escaped while firing in the air. Police shifted the bodies to the DHQ Hospital, Wazirabad.
Police have registered a case against the accused.
