Rawalpindi: Peddlers convicted
RAWALPINDI: Two different courts convicted two drug-peddlers, including a woman on Wednesday. Additional Sessions Judge Mujahid Mustaqeem Ahmad awarded one-year imprisonment to Nadia in a drug-trafficking case. The court also fined her Rs 10,000. Pirwadhai police had booked her for possession of over one kilogram drug.
Meanwhile, Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Iqbal Malik awarded one-year imprisonment and Rs 5,000 fine to Amir after he confessed to his crime.
He was also booked by Pirwadhai police for drug trafficking. Over one kilogram drug was recovered from his possession.
