Lahore: 6-year-old girl killed in cable network brawl
LAHORE: Stray bullets from a brawl between rival cable network owners killed a 6-year-old girl, and injured a four-year-old boy and a passer by in Nawankot police precincts on Thursday.
The police said a quarrel between the two groups ended in a gunfight. Bullets from the fight hit Seemab and Ahmed, who were playing outside their houses, and 24-year-old Ilyas who was passing by.
Local residents called an Edhi ambulance that took the injured to hospital. Seemab died on the way and doctors said Ahmed and Ilyas were in critical condition.
Seemab’s body has been sent for an autopsy but a case has not been registered so far.
