Gujranwala: Held for human trafficking
GUJRANWALA: The Federal Investigation Agency claimed on Saturday to have arrested a human agent after a brief encounter at Copra, Sialkot and brought him here.
On a tip-off that Akhtar alias Baba was present at his house, a team, led by inspector Rao Nasirullah, raided the village and asked him to surrender. But he along with his accomplices Amjad and Arshad started firing. During crossfire, the team arrested him.
FIA additional-director Husain Asghar said Baba was wanted in 41 cases of human smuggling for the last five years.
He said eight people were shot dead by border security force in Turkey last year who were sent by him illegally.
