GUJRANWALA: Four dacoits looted the house of an industrialist and decamped with cash, jewellery and foreign currency worth Rs3.5 million at Wazirabad on Saturday.
Reports said the outlaws forced their entry into the house of Muhammad Younis in Allahabad locality by scaling the boundary wall. They held hostage the inmates and made off with cash, gold jewellery, foreign currency and other valuables worth Rs3.5 million. They locked the house before fleeing and resorted to aerial firing.
Later, scores of businessmen protested against the police for not controlling the incidence of robberies.
