Islamabad: Gunshot kills FC constable
ISLAMABAD: A Frontier Constabulary (FC) constable on Saturday died in his barrack near Ayub Chowk under mysterious circumstances.
Police said that Sher Hakeem, 26, suffered a gunshot in chest, which proved deadly. They, however, said that investigation into suspected involvement of another constable in the incident was underway.
The police seized the deceased’s gun.
Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Iqbal Malik on Saturday sentenced a drug peddler to one-year imprisonment and Rs 5,000 fine following his conviction.
The conviction came after Farrukh Sultan confessed to possessing over one kg hashish. The police later shifted him to Adiala Jail.
