Karachi: Four killed in separate incidents
KARACHI: Four people, including a woman, were killed on Thursday in acts of violence in parts of the city. Nabi Bux police said a 25-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman were killed near Bukhari Mazaar when unknown attackers opened fire. Bodies of Umair, resident of Usmanabad, and Ganga Devi, resident of Punjab Colony, were shifted to the Civil Hospital for autopsies.
Hospital sources said that the young man received three bullets, two in upper torso, and the woman received a single bullet in her abdomen.
Area SHO told Dawn that the incident seemed to be motivated by rivalry between gangsters as Umair was also found involved in criminal activities. He said that unknown assailants opened fire on the people who were sitting near the Bukhari Mazaar.
Sources said that the deceased woman had only come to visit the Mazaar.
