Islamabad: Man kills three family members
ISLAMABAD: A violent man, presumably suffering from psychopathic disorder, allegedly shot dead his brother, wife and sister-in-law in Tarnol on Friday, police said.
Investigation officer sub-inspector Mukhtar Ahmed told Dawn that the killer, Yasir Shah, a resident of Tarnol, had married Nazia Bibi a year ago and the woman was currently visiting her parents’ house located in the same area.
On Friday, Yasir woke up in the morning and murdered his brother, Abid Shah, and set the house on fire.
Later, he reached the house of his in-laws where he first gunned down his wife and then also shot dead his sister-in-law Sadia Arbab using a 12-bore shotgun.
The police said Yasir’s brother-in-law narrowly escaped death during the attack. The killer is reported to be on the run after committing the triple murder.
