Lahore: 148kg charas seized
LAHORE: Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Mughalpura and Allama Iqbal Town divisions claimed to have arrested four drug traffickers on Thursday and seized a huge quantity of narcotics from them. According to an official handout, special teams headed by the CIA superintendent of police arrested the drug pushers on a tip-off.
The first team seized charas from a truck coming from the NWFP and nabbed two criminals. The second team arrested two drug pushers from Peco Road. The police seized 148kg of charas from them. Cases have been registered against the arrested in Liaqatabad, Manawa and Shafiqabad police stations. The arrested have been identified as Muhammad Shakoor, Muhammad Adnan, Takht Gull Khan and Aftab Ali Shah. Capital City Police Officer and Additional Inspector General Malik Muhammad Iqbal has announced cash prizes and certificates for the raiding teams.
