Lahore: Police recover kidnapped teenager, arrest 3
LAHORE: Factory Area Police (Investigation) on Sunday arrested three kidnappers, who had abducted a teenage boy from Pir Colony, Walton Road, and recovered the victim safely.
According to an official handout, Abdul Razzaq, the proprietor of Naveed Gold Smith, informed the police that his 18-year-old son, Naveed, left the shop for his home on February 20 at 6pm, but never reached home.
Factory Area police registered a case under Section 365A. Meanwhile, two unidentified men contacted the victim’s father on his mobile phone and demanded Rs 10 million. A police team raided living quarters on Walton Road and arrested three kidnappers. The police also recovered Naveed. The police claimed that the ringleader, Liaqat alias Lucky, was a doctor and belonged to Lahore, while the other two culprits, Abdul Jabbar and Fahad, hailed from Peshawar and Chakwal respectively.
