Karachi: Enmities claim lives of three men
KARACHI: Three people were killed on Tuesday over personal enmities in different parts of the city, witnesses and police said. A 60-year-old man was shot dead near his house in Dunba Goth off the Super Highway.
Identified as Nihal Bugti, the victim was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where he was pronounced dead.
Hospital sources said the victim was shot to his head from a very close range as the bullet went through his skull.
Memon Goth police said the elderly man was shot dead over some personal feud.
The area SHO, Inspector Pervez Khan Bangash, told Dawn that the victim’s son, Din Mohammed Baloch, had lodged the case against six attackers.
He said the complainant named Bajla Bugti, Mangal Bugti and Dimko Bugti as suspected attackers who along with three unknown culprits killed his father.
The SHO said the police seized three spent bullet casings from the spot. He said that no arrest was made so far and that the police were making efforts to track down the suspects.
