Lahore: Robbers loot five houses in city
Lahore: Robbers looted five houses, one shop and three citizens during street crime while thieves lifted six cars and motorcycles in the provincial capital on Tuesday.
Robbers looted cash and valuables worth Rs800,000 from a house in Shadbagh police precincts. Four robbers barged into the house of Iftikhar, held inmates on gunpoint, collected Rs70,000 in cash, prize bonds worth Rs25,000, jewelery weighing 35 tolas and a cell phone and fled.
Two robbers stormed into Nadim’s house in Lower Mall police limits and took away six tolas of gold jewellery.
Four robbers entered Zulfiqar’s house in Ichhra police jurisdiction and fled after looting Rs30,000 and gold jewellery weighing seven tolas.
Two armed people forced their entry into the house of Tabassum Khan, wife of Saifullah, in Nishtar Colony police area, looted gold jewellery, cash and a licenced weapon totally worth Rs300,000 and fled.
Four robbers entered Hafeez’s house in H-Block in Township police limits and took away cash, jewellery and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
Five robbers snatched Rs2.2 million and two cell phones from two citizens in Township police precincts.
Bagh Ali of EME Society Multan Road and his friend were on their way when five car riders intercepted them and snatched cash and two cell phones.
Two robbers stopped one Komal in Main Market, Gulberg, and deprived her of Rs11,000 and two cell phones.
