Karachi: Haqiqi activist killed in Landhi
KARACHI: Three people, including a worker of the Muhajir Quami Movement (Haqiqi), were killed on Wednesday in different parts of the city, witnesses and police said.
Witnesses said the 22-year-old Haqiqi worker was shot dead late Tuesday night near his house in Landhi. They said Nadim Ayub was sitting outside his house when he was attacked and shot dead.
A leader of the MQM Haqiqi, Feroze Haider, told Dawn that the victim’s house was located in the same lane where party chief, Amir Khan, used to live. He added that the victim was targeted because he used to consort with Mr Khan’s former bodyguard, Asif.
