Karachi: PPP worker shot dead
KARACHI: An activist of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was gunned down on Wednesday within the jurisdiction of the Pakistan Bazaar police station.
Muhammad Taha Siddiqui, 27, was sitting near his house at sector 11 12, Shah Waliullah Nagar, when some unidentified people shot him. “The deceased’s father Muzaffar Alam ran over after hearing the gun shots and found Taha in pain,” said SHO Malik.
He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he died. He was unmarried and worked for a garment factory. FIR No. 92/08 has been registered against unidentified persons.
