Quetta: BLA claims it killed 2 security personnel
QUETTA: The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) said on Wednesday they killed two personnel from a sensitive government security force in the provincial capital, raising the death toll of government personnel killed by the BLA to six in a single week.
Armed men of the BLA killed the two personnel in the Killi Almo locality on Quetta’s Airport road. Though the local police failed to trace the killers, a spokesman from the BLA told reporters that the killers belonged to his organisation.
Both men were killed instantly after being shot in the head by masked motorcyclists. They were identified as Saeed Ahmed, a resident of Haripur Hazara and Zafraan Ahmed Piracha, a resident of Thatta, in Sindh. They were dressed in civilian clothing at the time of the attack.
