Lahore: 2 children injured in madrassa blast
LAHORE: Two children were injured in a hand grenade blast in a madrassa in the Sorani area of Bannu on Saturday, private TV channel Dawn News reported.
It said the blast took place in Darul Uloom Arabia located in the Sorani area – hometown of former NWFP chief minister Akram Khan Durrani. Bannu DPO Dar Ali Khattak told the channel that the blast injured the children, aged around 7 to 8 years. Officials told the channel that the children had been rushed to the DHQ hospital.
