Karachi: Six accused for killing IB officials remanded to police custody
KARACHI: Six alleged activists of a banned outfit, accused of killing two Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials, were remanded to police custody on Tuesday till April 21 by the High Court of Sindh (SHC) Anti-Terrorism Court’s Administrative Judge, Justice Khawaja Naveed Ahmed.
Umar Farooq, Tariq, Muhammad Saeed, Adnan, Razaullah and Muhammad Suleman were arrested by the police on the charge of killing two IB officials, Inspector Muhammad Ibrahim and Sub–Inspector Fazal-ur-Rahman, on March 27, on Frere Road. An FIR, No. 178/2008 U-S 30234 rw 7-ATA, was registered against them at the Preedy Police Station, Saddar.
