Boy gunned down in Karachi
KARACHI: Mohammad Umer, 20, a salesman by profession, was killed while alone at a garment shop at Mohammad Ali Society within the jurisdiction of the Bahadurabad Police Station.
He was a resident of Delhi Colony. His colleague left the shop temporarily to get ice. Umer was lying in the shop dead when his colleague returned, having been shot twice.
His body was rushed to the JPMC, where his family took away the body without completing medico-legal formalities, said DSP Irshad Sohail. The deceased’s family also misbehaved with the police when they reached the hospital to complete the legal formalities.
Initially, it was stated that deceased died on resisting during a robbery but circumstances indicate that this was a domestic dispute. However, the police is waiting for the family of the deceased to calm down before proceeding with further investigation, said Sohail.
