Shikarpur: Four killed in tribal feud
SHIKARPUR: As a result of ongoing tribal dispute between Shar and Khosa tribes four persons, including two women and a boy were killed by Khosa tribesmen near government agricultural farm in the jurisdiction of Lakhi Ghulam Shah police station on Friday.
At least ten armed men from Khosa tribe attacked Shars with automatic weapons when they were harvesting wheat crop in the field.
As a result of firing, four persons namely Abdul Karim Shar, Ms Marvi wife of Rano Shar, Ms Begum Zadi wife of Ghulam Shabbir Shar and a boy Ghulam Ali Shar 7, died on the spot. After committing the offence, the assailants escaped.
The motive behind the incident is said to be dispute over a piece of agricultural land between the two groups. So far at least 23 persons from both the groups have lost their lives in armed clashes. No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.
