Lahore: 2 PML-N workers injured in firing
LAHORE: Two workers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were injured late on Thursday, sources in the PML-N said. They said the workers were returning from a party function in Gulshan-e-Ravi when three unidentified people in a car attacked them. Adnan Shah and Malik Ijaz were moved to a local hospital after the attack.
Sources in the police said the PML-N workers had quarreled with activists of the Muslim Student Federation-Quaid (MSF-Q) during the function, but the issue was resolved on the spot. One of those injured told the police that Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) activists Malik Mithu and Shabbar Gujjar allegedly attacked them near the Moon Market. However, PML-N leader Mian Marghoob said the party had no link with the injured.
