Lahore: Suspected killer takes victim to hospital and takes off
LAHORE: A man suspected of attacking a 40-year-old victim on Thursday took her to the Services Hospital and fled after registering her home address and his cellphone number at the hospital. The suspect, Manzoor, a resident of Baghbanpura Bazaar, brought the unconscious victim, identified as Nargis, resident of House 2, Street 3, Shalamar, to the Services Hospital.
Manzoor left Nargis at the hospital’s Emergency Department. The doctors pronounced Nargis dead and tried to contact Manzoor, but his cellphone was switched off.
The police were called and they took the body to the city morgue for autopsy. Imran Hashmi, the case investigation incharge, said he was looking for a lead in the case. The police are considering Manzoor the prime suspect.
