Karachi: Three people and PPP worker killed
KARACHI: Four people, including a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) worker, were killed Saturday in separate incidents. Mir Zaat Khan, 32, was shot near his house at Pahar Gung, Block R, North Nazimabad, within the limits of the Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan police station. He was a PPP worker and had a dispute over an empty plot situated in the area with some locals, said DSP Farooq Sher Zaman.
Earlier, they clashed over the same issue. He was killed in a clash with the same individuals. The armed men opened fire on him and he was killed on the spot. An FIR has been registered on behalf of the deceased’s family against Ibrahim Khan and his brother, Sher Zaman. The nominated men have fled, however, the DSP added.
