Thatta: Kidnap victims freed after 30 days
THATTA: Two kidnap victims arrived in their village Chhato Chand near here on Wednesday after getting released from notorious dacoit Adlo Soomro’s captivity. They were kidnapped 30 days ago from an agricultural farm on the right bank of the Indus River and taken to nearby Viran forest, which the dacoits used as hideout.
Sources in police confirmed the arrival of Manthar Brohi and Abid Punjabi, who according to some reports, were released after payment of huge ransom. The two were reluctant to comment on their release. The Thatta District Police Officer was not available for comments.
