Lahore: FIA arrests Afghan travelling on ‘fake’ passport
LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Passport and Immigration Cell on Sunday claimed to have arrested an Afghan travelling on a fake passport from the Allama Iqbal International Airport. Sources in FIA said, “Dilawar Khan, resident of Khost, Afghanistan, was returning from Greece on a fake passport with the name of Gorjious.” FIA officials also said that Dilawar had paid 6,000 Euros to an Indian for the passport. The officials said they had found him suspicious, checked his passport and found it fake. They arrested Dilawar and registered a case against him.
