Peshawar: Four members from one family gunned down
PESHAWAR: Four members of a family were killed over a matrimonial dispute in Wahid Garhi area on Monday. According to Imran Khan, his brother Mohammad Yousaf had been engaged to the daughter of his maternal uncle. On Sunday, Yousaf’s mother went to her brother’s house to set a date for the wedding but her brother refused the engagement.
Later, Shaukat Ali, Tahir Jan, Naheed, Yasmeen, Fazl Rabi and Sabz Ali allegedly attacked their home and opened fire after a verbal argument. Mohammad Yousaf (26), his mother Gul Shad, and sisters Shehla (12), and Nayyab (18) were killed on the spot, Imran said. Police have arrested two of the accused killers while the search for the others is on.
