Two murdered in Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI: Two men were murdered in the city limits on Saturday night, police said. Misri Khan complained to Chontra police that two armed men, Amir Khan and Nasir, entered his house and one of them hit the head of his son, Amir, with the butt of his Kalashnikov, killing him on the spot. The accused managed to escape from the scene soon after the incident.
A case has been registered and investigation started. Some unknown person strangled a man at his house in the limits of Waris Khan police. Muhammad Mukeem, a resident of Qasaira Bazaar, told police that some unknown person strangled his neighbour, Muhammad Azam Hakeem, at his house. Police reached the spot and found a rope round Hakeem’s neck. A case has been registered and investigation started.
