Lahore: Six injured by rivals
LAHORE: Six people, including a councillor, sustained injuries when their rivals opened fire on them allegedly over a property dispute in the Gulshan-i-Ravi area on Monday. Police said Asif had sold his auto workshop to one Ali Ahmad but another man Nazir, of Chappar Stop, claimed to be the owner of the plot. On Monday, Asif, Ali Ahmad, Aslam, Abbas, Nadeem and UC-102 councillor Haji Iqbal were sitting at the site when Nazir and his accomplices turned up there. They had an argument followed by a scuffle on which Nazir and his accomplices opened fire, injuring all the six, and fled. The injured were taken to Services Hospital.
