Islamabad: Police seize arms
ISLAMABAD: The capital police on Tuesday foiled an attempt to smuggle arms from NWFP to Punjab and arrested three alleged smugglers in the limits of Ternol police station. The police also recovered four pistols and three guns from the alleged smugglers, said a press release. The vehicle carrying arms was nabbed during routine checking. Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ahmad Latif directed the Islamabad police to set up more pickets in the capital to keep suspected movements under watch.
