Lahore: Moneychanger robbed of Rs10 million
LAHORE: Robbers looted Pakistani as well as foreign currency worth Rs10 million from a moneychanger in Barket Market on Saturday. Garden Town police said five armed men barged in Premier Money Changers in Gull Plaza, held manager Asim Sajan, cashier Asim and office boy Waris at gunpoint and escaped after looting cash.
Three robbers snatched cash, a cell phone and a motorcycle from Asim Bashir in Lytton Road police limits, while two armed men deprived Saifullah of his motorcycle in Hanjarwal police limits. Shahid was deprived of Rs17,000 in cash and a cell phone in Mughalpura and Nasir Ali of Rs75,000 and a cell phone in North Cantonment.
