Rawalpindi: 3 drug traffickers get jail, fine
RAWALPINDI: Additional District and Sessions Judge Abdur Rehman Awan on Saturday awarded jail and fine to three convicts in three separate cases of drug trafficking. Mir Zaman, Taj Muhammad and Niaz Ali were arrested by Cantonment police station for possessing hashish.
The judge handed down two-and-a-half-year imprisonment and Rs10,000 fine each to Mir Zaman and Niaz Ali for possessing two-and half kilogramme hashish each. Taj Muhammad was awarded two-year jail and Rs10,000 fine for possessing two kilogramme hashish.
The convicts would have to undergo two-week more jail if they failed to pay fine. All the three convicts were shifted them to Adiala Jail.
