Nazim’s son slain near Daulatpur
NAWABSHAH: The teenage son of Kharr UC Nazim Mumtaz Daheri was killed and four people were injured when armed men attacked them within the limits of Daulatpur police station on the night between Saturday and Sunday. A gang of armed men opened fire on a group of people going to their fields, killing 14-year-old Fida Hussain Daheri on the spot and injuring Zulqa’ad Daheri, Ali Mohammad Daheri, Liaquat Ali and one other person.
The injured were rushed to Moro Taluka Hospital and after provision of first aid, were shifted to People’s Medical College Hospital, Nawabshah. The relatives carrying the body of the slain boy held a protest demonstration at the National Highway and outside Daulatpur police station against the incident. They staged a sit-in on the road and blocked the traffic. The protesters raised slogans against the police and demanded immediate arrest of the killers besides provision of swift justice.
Mumtaz Daheri, the father of slain boy, lodged a case with Daulatpur police station against Ibrahim Daheri, Raza Daheri, Asghar Daheri, Suleman Daheri, Haji Hassan, Faisal Hassan, Ali Gohar, Haji Haider, Sher and Ali Akber.
