Lahore: Robbers strike at two places
Lahore: Dr Asim Aslam, a resident of B-Block, Iqbal Avenue Housing Society, was going home after saying his evening prayer in a mosque in Johar Town police precincts when two robbers intercepted him and asked him to hand them over his wallet.
On resistance, the robbers shot at him and fled without booty. He was taken to Jinnah Hospital with two bullet wounds in his back.
Four robbers stopped one Muzafar Hussain in Batapur police limits and deprived him of two cell phones. Kamran Peter and his wife were on their way in jurisdiction of Gulshan-i-Ravi police station when robbers snatched from them Rs5,000 in cash, seven tolas of gold ornaments and two cell phones.
