Peshawar: 4 alleged robbers held
PESHAWAR: City police have arrested four accused involved in dacoity of Rs 20 million. A police statement on Friday said that one Umar Dher, a resident of Swat, was robbed of Rs 20 million on February 09 this year near Hashtnagri area on GT Road when he was going to deliver this amount of money to Haji Iftikhar in Sarafa Bazaar.
The investigative team led by SSP Investigation Ghulam Mohammad arrested two accused Adil Mohammad and Shah Feroz while entering Peshawar in a motorcar bearing registration number LEJ-07-7921 by means of the mobile phone of Umar Dher which they had snatched along with the money. They confessed their crime.
Police on their information also arrested their two other accused accomplices Hussain and Gulab Shah and recovered two new cars, a tractor and Rs 0.970 million cash from their possession.
