Karachi: Father of two killed
KARACHI: The body of a man was recovered from the Native Jetty Bridge on Sunday. According to details, 25-year-old Habib Khan, a resident of Okhai Mohalla and father of two children, worked at a motorcycle rental shop and was missing for the past two days. Civilians informed the police of the presence of a body, which was Khan’s two-day-old drowned body.
The body was taken to Civil Hospital, Karachi for legal formalities where doctors proclaimed his death as a murder. Raaz Mohammad, the deceased’s brother, claimed that four people, including two women, were responsible for his brother’s death.
He said that FIR No. 334/08 had been registered against unidentified men on behalf of the government, but the police were reluctant to initiate investigations. He threatened to hold protests if the police continued to neglect the case.
