Karachi: Armed men target private security manager
KARACHI: Unidentified men killed the deployment manager of a private security company and his associate in the jurisdiction of the Ferozabad Police Station on Tuesday. Deceased Javed Aslam, 32, along with his associate, Aslam, 55, were on a motorcycle near the Ranger’s Headquarters on Shahrah–e–Quaideen when two unidentified men on a motorcycle opened fire on them and fled.
Aslam was shot once but Akram was shot seven times with a 9mm pistol. Jamshed Town SP Javed Akhtar Riaz told Daily Times that both of them died on the spot, and their bodies were taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC). He said that Aslam lived in Akhtar Colony, Mehmoodabad. The victims were from Azad Kashmir, and Akram had come here to meet Aslam, just recently. It was a target killing, said the police, but it is unclear whether both of them or just one was targeted. No FIR was registered when this report was filed.
