Karachi: Man kidnaps foster sister
KARACHI: A man registered a case against his adopted son for kidnapping his minor daughter for unknown reasons. A case was lodged at the Jackson police station. Mohammed Maqbool Khan, resident of Azeem Khan Compound, said that he was a bus driver by profession and residing at the above mentioned address since the past many years along with his family and adopted son Muneer.
About four years ago he was passing through the lane near his house. He had met Muneer, a boy who had no home so decided to adopt him. He also appointed him as conductor of his bus.
On August 22 Muneer called to tell him that he was leaving his house as he has started working at Pipri. Later when he reached home his wife gave him the message. She told him that Muneer had come home to change his clothes. He tried to contact Muneer but all in vain.
On August 25 morning his daughter Hina, 6, son Moin, 8, and Mobeen, 4, went to school. He and his wife also went to work. In the afternoon his son informed him that Hina did not return from school and his son saw Muneer standing at the school gate.
He added that Muneer gave Rs10 each to his sons and went inside the school and later kidnapped Hina. He boarded a Mazda bus of route–N. He registered a case of kidnapping. The investigation police have so far failed to locate his daughter.
