Lahore: 3 couples robbed
LAHORE: Dacoits on Sunday deprived a number of citizens of cash and gold ornaments worth hundred of thousands of rupees. Zahid Sadiq, a resident of Gulshan Ravi, was on his way along with his wife in a car when two armed motorcycle riders took them hostage at gunpoint near Muqadas Park. The dacoits cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 24,800 from the couple and fled.
Ejaz Hussain, a resident of Defence Fort, and his wife were going to their home in a car when two armed motorcycle riders snatched cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 100,000 near their house in Factory Area.
Liaqat Ali, a resident of Liaqat Street, Mozang, and his wife came to a bakery in Gulshan Ravi area in a car. They were getting out of their car when two armed motorcycle riders snatched gold ornaments worth Rs 110,000 from the woman.
Three armed motorcycle riders snatched cash, a cell phone and a motorbike (LOV–4907) from Shahid Yar, a resident of Naseer Park, Shahdara Town, in the jurisdiction of Shahdara Town police station. An armed man snatched cash and a cell phone from Umar Akram, a resident of Mehboob Garden, Shadab Colony, Sattukatla, in the limits of Sattukatla police station. Two dacoits robbed Hamid Raza, a resident of Dars Road, Mughalpura, of cash and a cell phone in the limits of Mughalpura police station.
