Rawalpindi: Non-bailable arrest warrants issued
RAWALPINDI: Additional District and Sessions Judge Rana Muhammad Ali issued non–bailable arrest warrants against the Westridge Police Station SHO and ordered his production before the court on October 21. Muhammad Mansoor had submitted an application under Section 22-A against the SHO. He alleged that the police official was giving protection to people involved in a fraud case.
According to the complainant, he had sold a house to Muhammad Azam who gave a cheque for Rs2.9 million which was dishonoured by the bank. He said that he went to the Westridge Police Station for registering an FIR regarding dishonouring of the cheque but the SHO refused to do it. The court issued several notices to the SHO to appear before the court but he did not obey the orders of ASJ due to which the court issued his non–bailable arrest warrants.
