Lahore: Case registered against 4 women
LAHORE: The Sabzazar police have registered a case against five people including four women for kidnapping and killing a 17–year–old girl. The victim was identified as Samina, daughter of Mohammad Alyas of Mauza Nawankot Sabzazar. The complainant, Mohammad Alyas, told the police that he was a father of four daughters of whom the victim was the second one. He said that his wife got sick almost six months back and was admitted to Mayo Hospital. He had been looking after his wife for three weeks and during his absence, his daughter Samina was kidnapped.
He said two women namely Shahnaz Bibi, wife of Anayat, and Zubaida, wife of Mohammad Afzal, residents of Shahkot, came to his house now and informed that his daughter died of some medical complications.
He along with the two women went to the house of Sughran Bibi, wife of Allah Yar, a resident of 469/M Sabzazar, and recovered the body of his daughter.
After probing the matter, Alyas came to know that Sughran Bibi and her husband Allah Yar run a brothel and they forced his daughter Samina into the trade. He said Allah Yar also had forcible sex with his daughter; as a result, she was seven months pregnant. Later, the accused, Sughran and Allah Yar, got the services of a midwife, Naseem Akhtar alias Rani Dai, who aborted the victim’s pregnancy.
Samina’s condition went critical, upon which they took her to Jinnah Hospital where she expired. Mohammad Alyas accused Shahnaz Bibi, wife of Anayat, and Zubaida, wife of Mohammad Afzal, residents of Shahkot, Sughran Bibi and her husband Allah Yar and Naseem Akhtar alias Rani Dai of kidnapping and killing his daughter.
The Sabzazar police have registered a case against the accused under Section 302/109/496-B and 338C and sent the body to city morgue for autopsy.
