Hangu: 2 bombers held
HANGU: Police claimed to have arrested two would-be suicide bombers along with explosive devices in Tall tehsil Saturday. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shah Ali Kayani while producing the arrested bombers before the media men at his office said the intelligence agency had informed about the entrance of 2-3 bombers to Hangu district. The DSP said the bombers Ghaffarullah and Ahmed Ali had been tasked with hitting a police officer and MNA Kurram Agency, Muneer Orakzai in the district.
The DSP said Ghaffarullah after doing his matriculation from Mir Ali tehsil proceeded to Khushab district for religious studies. He said Ghaffarullah returned home and joined a group of militants, who gave him training of suicide bombing at South Waziristan Agency.
Ghaffarullah was given a task of hitting a police officer and MNA for the purpose the militants deputed both of them with explosive vests and devices, DSP added.
DSP said they were arrested in Tall tehsil while on their way to Hangu district and hence a massive terror plot was foiled.
