Karachi: Charges framed against accused in triple murder case
KARACHI: Charges were framed on Saturday in the court of district and sessions judge Arjun Lal Talreja against two accused in the triple murder case of Guljee, his wife and maid. The accused, M Akram and Mohammed Anwer denied the charges, however, and the court put off the hearing till October 11. The famous artist Mohammed Ismail Guljee, his wife Zareen Guljee and their maid Asiya were found dead in their Clifton residence on December 19, 2007. Guljee’s driver, Akram Ali, and his associate Anwar were arrested on February 16 by the Anti–Violent Crime Unit (AVCU) from a hotel near the Cantonment railway station.
