Islamabad: 2 awarded 5-year RI in robbery case
ISLAMABAD: Additional District and Sessions Judge Shaukat Mahmood on Monday awarded five years imprisonment and Rs50,000 fine each to two accused involved in a robbery case after finding them guilty. Muhammad Umar Khan and Muhammad Saleem Khan were involved in looting Rs1 million from one Muhammad Usman. The case was registered against them with the Aabpara Police in 2004.
In another case police failed to produce Sadiq Hussain Shah and his three-years-old son Asim before the court of District and Sessions Judge Mirza Rafi–uz–Zaman after the appeal of Syeda Aasia Bibi to get the custody of her kid.
The judge had issued notice to SHO Sihala Police Station to produce Sadiq Hussain Shah with his son (Asim), but police failed to produce them and stated before the court that Sadiq has gone to Kashmir. After receiving the comments of SHO the judge disposed off the case.
Earlier, Syeda Aasia Bibi had moved court against her husband (Sadiq Hussain Shah) to get the custody of her son and stated that she was living separately from him. Sadiq took his son (Asim) with him and now he is not allowing anyone to meet the kid.
