Islamabad: 9 stolen vehicles recovered, 2 held
ISLAMABAD: The Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) Saturday arrested two suspects involved in carjacking and recovered nine stolen vehicles from their custody, police said. The gangsters tempered the stolen vehicles and sold out in markets after preparing bogus documents of the vehicles. Incharge ACLC had constituted a special team headed by Inspector Abdul Razzaq to trace the criminals involved in carjacking.
The team finally nabbed Naeem Khan, son of Alam Jan and Muhammad Ayub, son of Khan Mir, belonging to an inter-provincial gangs and recovered stolen vehicles from their possession with bogus documents bearing registration numbers LWL–6819, LXN–8523, LWF–1507, LHW–1461, LRZ–6893, LED–6895, LWK–8161, LWE–6515, LWH–1461. The accused had stolen theses vehicles from different districts including Islamabad.
